Stories by science-fiction masters like Harlan Ellison and Robert A. Heinlein, introduced by superstar real scientist Stephen Hawking! That was the ingenious set-up for "Masters of Science Fiction" which premiered on August 4, 2007. ABC TV's "death slot" ensured its doom though, and audiences barely had a chance to find it before "Masters..." was pulled.
